What?

What is messages, its simply either long or short messages I wrote in preperation to talk to people biblicaly.... You don't have to believe what I see but read it with an open mind

Message #1

This message I wrote in preperation to speak to people who have commited crimes while they were in a mental state, some of them might still be, and are in a Hospital for people who are medically unstable at this present moment. The cool think is I actually said something slightly different from this.

First I would like to say “the Bible is not interpreted properly until you interpret it for your self” professor TC Han

Family have been a source of hope and love for years, whether they are biological family, non biological family, or spiritual family. For me my Family have helped me make it through many years of situations gone wrong, such as physical, emotional, or even spiritual distress. For each situation God has always sent Family members into my life; I would like to encourage you to remember this that family member doesn’t have to mean you have the same parents. For instance this past year I was in physical distress for over a year, and I was getting really baffeled about the whole situation, and God sent a person into my life who I have never met before and she showed me how to get through that diverse situation she is my sister in christ.

The NIV Bible says in Prov 17:17 ‘A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.’ I interpret this verse to saying that a good friend will love you at all times, and they will be like your brother or sister helping you through times of adversity.

Your family doesn’t need to be actual biological family, your family can consist of your friends, and your friends consist of people who love you everyday, such as the doctors and nurses here. They are here day and night for you, ready to give you care when needed.  Infact many times through out the New Testament Jesus addresses people as his siblings, and in fact they weren’t actually his biological siblings. The point is since God is our Father than that makes us all brothers and sisters, and we are supposed to love one another as siblings. The secret behind loving someone as a sibling is simply this “do unto others as you would have them do unto you” Mathew 12:7. What I think is cool is Jesus’ reply to the people when they ask “Teacher what is the greatest commandment in the Law?” and Jesus gives them two answers “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And second is like it: Love your neighbour as yourself.” Mathew 22: 36-39

In order to have complete love for one another we must also learn to Love God with everything we have and do, once we accomplish this we will find that our love grows bigger for our brothers and sisters where ever they are and where ever we are.

When I began to scratch concept of the unconditional Love of God, Gods Love can never be fully grasped by human kind, I found that I was able to expand my love to everyone. I started to want to care more and more for the people around me, and trying to do good for them. In this I discovered Gods second greatest commandment, to love your neighbours as yourself. Loving your neighbour as your self can be interpreted as two things (you can pick) either love your neighbour to the extent you love yourself, or love your neighbour as you would want them to love you. This is where the golden rule comes in ‘do unto others as you would have them do unto you.’ For me if I was hurt I would want someone to help me, so in turn I learned how to help people. Helping people when they are hurt doesn’t only mean learn to do first aid, in fact, I think it means (MOST IMPORTANTLY) that we love the people who are hurt. Through our love people most often heal the fastest, or find the most care. I think as an example we can look again at your doctors and nurses, they put time into providing you with care, and even though sometimes they seem like they don’t want to be here, they took this job because they had this Love for you all and wanted to help you, they still have these jobs because that love has not faded.

Now Love is not just about happiness, let me explain, all throughout History God has shown his love for us. In the absolute beginning of time God loved Adam and Eve and he provided everything for them. The Bible says ‘’Love is slow to anger”, meaning Love is still capable of getting angry. God in fact got angry at his children loads of times and had to punish us. Now I know what some of you may be thinking. How can anger be considered Love? Well its not necessarily the anger that is considered Love but it is how we handle that anger (for example; A child hits another child, so the parent has to punish the child, who was being bad, in a way that the child who sinned will see what they did as wrong.) That is the same with God and us, when we sin against God he has to punish us in a way that we learn from our mistakes. When Adam and Eve ate form the tree of the knowledge of good and evil God had to banish them from the garden. While Moses was talking to God on mount Sinai, after delivering the Israelites from Egypt, the Israelites started worshiping false Gods (even after God had been so evident in their lives.) So God had to show the Israelites that what they were doing was wrong, and kept them in exile for longer. And history repeats itself. The bible is FULL of different kinds of Love.

Another thing that I want to point out is that God dislikes divorce in families, now divorce does not only look at parents separating, it also looks at siblings/friends/ children separating from each other in hatred (the loss of love for each other), the Bible even says Love your enemy. A man asked Jesus how many times he should forgive his brother. And Jesus replied ‘don’t only forgive your brothers and sisters 7 times but forgive them 70 times 7 times” I interpret that statement to saying if someone sins against you and hurts you through that sin, God wants us to find it in our hearts to Forgive one another  as often as we sin against him. And brothers and sisters we sin everyday ALOT! We sin through our thoughts, actions, what we hear, and what we see. God has already forgiven us MILLIONS of times, we should be able to forgive our brothers and sisters the few times they sin against us out of love for them. Don’t divorce your family because they have done something wrong against you, work through that problem!

Now as I leave you I would urge you to remember, that you are loved NO MATTER what!

And please know, you cannot discover this love without asking Jesus and God to come and live in your heart. John 3:16-17 states “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son that who so ever believe in him shall not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send his son into the world to condemn the world but to save the world through him.” Always remember that Jesus was born into this world and he died for our sins, just so that we might have a way to get to heaven to live with GOD, he took on so much pain out of love for you and even me, our sins put Jesus, who lived a perfect flawless life, to death. He loved us, please don’t make the mistake of not loving him! Jesus said in John 15: 1-17:

1"I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. 2He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful. 3You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. 4Remain in me, and I will remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.

5"I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. 6If anyone does not remain in me, he is like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. 7If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you. 8This is to my Father's glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.

9"As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. 10If you obey my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have obeyed my Father's commands and remain in his love. 11I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete. 12My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. 13Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. 14You are my friends if you do what I command. 15I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master's business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you. 16You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit—fruit that will last. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name. 17This is my command: Love each other.

I believe with all my heart that this passage is saying that without Jesus we cannot get to God, Jesus said ‘I am the way the truth and the life, no one can get to the father except through me’ John 14:6

If you haven’t asked Jesus to come live into your heart you can do one of two things or even both:

You can ask me more about Jesus, and if you want I can pray with you personally

Or if you are convinced that Jesus lived and that he is the Son of God, and that he died for you and me please, make him the bridge that leads you to God and take the time to pray with me right now, if you have asked Jesus into your heart pray this prayer as a redemptive prayer.

Lord Jesus,

We come before you with heads hanging low in shame because of our sins, you died for us out of extreme LOVE and compassion. We are not worthy to have such a gift, but you still gave us such an opportunity. We sin and sin again, none of us are perfect, but we ask you to help us push those sins aside, and take control of our lives, help us realize we need you to make all the choices in our lives. Help us put aside our prideful ways and repent to you. God please take control of our hearts and our minds. Please teach us to learn how to love, Lord Jesus, please help us love you, teach us to love one other.
